Speech Therapy

Helping Children Find Their Voice

Our Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of pediatric communication challenges. Our mission is to help every child communicate with confidence and connect meaningfully with the world around them.

Whether a child is working on producing sounds, building language, improving social communication, or navigating feeding or swallowing challenges, our team provides individualized, evidence-based care that meets their unique needs.

Music Therapy

A Creative Path to Communication, Connection, and Confidence

At Wolfpack Therapies, Music Therapy is a clinically proven approach that uses rhythm, melody, movement, and creative interaction to help children build developmental skills, express emotions, and engage with the world around them.

Our program is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to each child's unique strengths, goals, and sensory profile. Children make meaningful progress, one note at a time.

Learn About Music Therapy

Who Benefits from Music Therapy?

Music Therapy can be especially effective for children with:

Autism Spectrum Disorder
Cognitive Delays
Speech and Language Disorders
Emotional or Behavioral Challenges
Sensory Processing Differences
Down Syndrome
ADHD
Neurological Disabilities
Developmental Disabilities

Music provides sensory input, emotional outlet, and rhythmic structure. All of which help children improve self-regulation, communication, and social engagement. It's joyful, motivating, and often leads to breakthroughs in areas where traditional approaches may feel limiting.

What Happens in a Session?

Sessions are interactive and dynamic, guided by your child's goals and interests. We use both active techniques (singing, playing instruments, improvisation) and receptive techniques (listening, movement to music).

Each session may support:

  • Emotional expression and regulation
  • Attention, sequencing, and memory
  • Motor coordination and rhythm
  • Speech and language development
  • Social turn-taking and teamwork

Who Provides Music Therapy?

All sessions are led by Board-Certified Music Therapists (MT-BC), professionals who have completed an approved music therapy degree, passed the national board certification exam, and meet ongoing continuing education requirements.

Music therapists are clinically trained in how to use music as a tool for therapy, not performance. Their role is to harness the therapeutic power of music to help children develop new skills, explore emotions, and connect with others.

All sessions take place in our clinic locations and are structured, goal-driven, and playfully engaging.

Animal-Assisted Therapy

Building Skills, Confidence, and Connection, One Paw at a Time

Wolfpack Therapies is proud to partner with Pawsitive Friendships to incorporate Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) into select Speech and Occupational Therapy sessions. This playful, relationship-based approach uses the connection between children and animals to support engagement, regulation, and skill-building.

Children often connect more easily with animals than with people. Animals naturally reduce stress, increase engagement, and create a sense of safety. When paired with a skilled therapist, animals become powerful partners in helping children meet therapeutic goals.

Ask About AAT

How It Works

Animal-Assisted Therapy follows a 1:1 model, pairing your child and their therapist with a trained dog-and-handler team. The therapist leads the session based on your child's treatment goals while the animal-handler ensures safe, calm interactions.

Trained Teams

Children work with the same dog-and-handler team each time for consistency and trust.

Safe Environment

If a child needs a break, the animal steps out while therapy continues.

Goal-Driven

Sessions remain focused on your child's therapeutic goals and progress.

Benefits of Animal-Assisted Therapy

AAT can support a wide range of developmental and emotional goals:

  • Fine motor and coordination skills
  • Emotional regulation and self-esteem
  • Reduced anxiety and avoidance behaviors
  • Balance and body awareness
  • Improved focus and attention
  • Social engagement, teamwork, and empathy
  • Confidence-building in social settings
  • Frustration tolerance and self-control
